Amid all the high-flying action and the deafening cheers from the fans in the sold-out arenas, being in the professional wrestling scene can be a very demanding profession. From having a specific diet to withstanding pain, hard work, and lots of traveling, the life of a WWE wrestler can sometimes feel overwhelming.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque gave these aspiring athletes of tomorrow what it means to secure their dream contract and be a part of the promised land. However, the Ring General, Gunther, decided to settle down the megastars of tomorrow by breaking their illusion and explaining why they were there.

Recently, the star decided to grace WWE’s new reality show, LFG, and intimidate them by reminding them how their original dream didn’t work out. But more importantly, they do not care enough about them to give them an honest breakdown of their lives.
Triple H’s gives Tough Enough participants a heads-up about their future
For the vast majority of wrestlers of tomorrow, the dream goal is to walk down the same steps as the WWE greats like The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Trish Stratus, Ric Flair, and many more. To call oneself a wrestler of the biggest sports entertainment company feels like an achievement in itself.

However, achieving a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment requires a lot more than a hunger to become a part of the company. The WWE CCO, Triple H, addressed the 13 WWE Tough Enough finalists via YouTube and gave them a heads-up that in the following 10 weeks, “we’re gonna kick your a**.”
He reminded them that they must get along as both need each other, but there will be only 1 guy and 1 Diva at the end of the day, earning that WWE contract. The Cerebral Assassin reminded these contestants that all the struggles and effort would be well worth it “for the kid that smiles,” changing their lives for the better.
He once again reminded them of the primary cause, which is putting a smile on people’s faces, and how their business runs on 2 principles, “hard work” and “have fun,” because it’s the coolest thing you’ll ever do. On the other hand, Gunther decided to blast the aspiring stars into bits as he was invited to A&E network’s newest reality show, Legends & Future Greats.
Gunther drops truth bombs on PC athletes
In the WWE locker room, Gunther sits on his throne as the most formidable wrestler on the men’s roster. The Ring General has not only brought character to the business but also emerged as one of the greatest heels in the company. The star has done such a phenomenal job inside the squared circle that The Deadman claims to be “my guy,” and how he loves this business, and it shows in everything that he does via WWE.

The current World Heavyweight Champion brought “legitimacy” to the PC athletes as he got brutally honest with them. He reminded them how these individuals from different backgrounds are standing here because their “real passion” didn’t work out.
Now they believe they can give wrestling a shot because it “might be easy” because they have to pretend in front of thousands of fans in the arena. The scene changed, where the WWE star said in the background that wanting to become a “star” is not enough to make a cut in the wrestling industry. He said,
If you just do it because you wanna be a superstar, you’re not going to make it if that’s gonna be your primary goal. It’s like you gonna do it because you love to do it.
The scene changes back to the Champion asking Tyra Mae Steele, a contestant, if they were an Olympian, to which they replied, “Olympic gold medalist,” in wrestling with a gleeful smile.

While the Ring General congratulated her on her achievement, “but doesn’t seem to pay the bills, huh?” Steele was taken aback by the reply and how he was “going for the heart.” He then ordered the contestants to “find some grit in yourself” and informed them that nobody wants to see their efforts but the results at the end of the day. Gunther said,
Maybe you start to find some grit in yourself because nobody cares if you wanna try to be the best here, I’m gonna give it my all, nobody cares.
The scene ended, leaving the contestants flabbergasted and anxious as Gunther’s words felt like a slap in the face to the contestants of LFG.
WWE LFG Episode 7 will be released on 30th March, 2025, streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
