Stephanie McMahon Admits She and Triple H Were Not Safe Everytime CM Punk Was on Mic

CM Punk has always been a menace in the ring, whether in a fight or with a microphone. He has a way with words, and there are multiple superstars like John Cena, and even the Undertaker couldn’t escape the wrath of it. Stephanie McMahon recently addressed her past clashes with Punk.

For people who witnessed it, CM Punk didn’t care about the limits. His sheer words brutally thrashed and dismembered anyone who was in front of him. From humiliating John Cena to messing with the Undertaker by disrespecting the urn of Paul Bearer, Punk has done it all.

ESPN recently released an original WWE series, “Stephanie’s Place”. In the episode with Punk, Stephanie remembers how he was a disaster with a microphone.

No one is safe when CM PUNK has a microphone!

CM Punk never cared about what might set someone off. Whenever he spoke, it was raw, and those on the receiving end had to match his intensity, or the crowd turned them into a flop show. In the episode with Punk, McMahon remembers how he was a disaster recipe with a microphone. While speaking with Punk, she said,

No one was safe when CM Punk had a microphone. Triple H and I know firsthand. I never forgot those words.

Back in 2011, when Punk was the WWE champion, he openly called out Triple H for bullying people who worked for him, and it got so intense that Triple H couldn’t take it anymore and was almost ready to fight. However, this aggression means nothing to Punk, and he casually asks,

Or What? You gonna beat me up? You gonna fight me? You gonna punch me in the face? Or do you gotta go ask your wife permission first?

CM Punk and Stephanie McMahon also had a verbal rivalry, and no one seemed to back out. They kept trading “wordy” punches, and it was just never-ending.

CM Punk Vs Stephanie McMahon: A war of words

There was a time when McMahon tried to wish him good luck when he was defending his WWE title. Punk instantly canceled her and refused to shake her hand and said. “I know where those hands have been”. This is how brutal CM Punk was in his prime.

Though Punk was a menace, Stephanie was also not someone who just took it. In that ESPN series, she also mentions how she gave him back the taste of his own medicine.

There was a time when Stephanie McMahon was on Raw, and the crowd chanted Punk‘s name. She addressed the crowd and said,

If you guys can keep that up for about two minutes and 15 seconds, you would last 1 second longer than Punk did.

The ESPN episode also reflects on the journey of CM Punk, and, according to him, it’s all about the comebacks. While he may have pissed some people off because of his words, the crowd always was on the edge of their seats when Punk spoke. It is still not over, as we will watch Punk at WrestleMania 41, and this time, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will have to go through the spitfires of CM Punk.
