When chocolate bunnies and jellybeans aren’t enough, Costco has the perfect spring dessert to elevate your Easter get-together. Eagle-eyed shoppers noticed the wholesaler brought back one of its most beloved bakery items, and we cannot wait to serve it after Easter brunch.
Instagram user @costcobuys spotted the return of the Carrot Bar Cake at Costco, chilled and ready to be served. (It’s so yummy, your guests will never know it isn’t homemade!)
“🥕 Carrot Bar Cake at Costco! This delicious Spring treat is BACK at the Costco bakery!!” @costcobuys captioned the post. They also broke down exactly what this cake is made of: “It’s layered with a delicious cream cheese icing, raisins, and more, all topped with delicious walnuts! It’s SO GOOD 😋” The flavor combination sounds absolutely divine — especially in the spring.
In the included video of the mouth-watering treat, we are drooling over the close-up shot of the three layers of carrot cake slathered with cream cheese icing in between each layer. The top is sprinkled with crushed walnuts for added flavor.
