President Trump said Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s nomination to be the next U.S. Ambassador to the U.S. has been withdrawn. Her nomination had been stalled for two months amid a razor-thin Republican majority in the House, which appears to be the main reason for the withdrawal.
