Giraffes, kangaroos, and koala bears are a regular part of Grace Warrior’s life. The 4-year-old daughter of Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell has a wild life living at Australia Zoo with her family, so it’s no surprise that she’s a fan of some of the most unique creatures living on earth. However, her latest animal photoshoot surprised us because of how unexpected it was — and it proves Grace loves every single creature under the sun!
Although we love them, you wouldn’t typically go to the zoo to see horses, right? Yet, Grace doesn’t mind. As it turns out, she is a certified horse girl! Although there are no horse exhibits at Australia Zoo, Grace got to hang out with one for her 4th birthday party earlier this week.

“Today was INCREDIBLE,” Bindi wrote on Instagram after her daughter’s birthday. “Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us at #AustraliaZoo. And thank you for the kindest messages for Grace’s birthday. It means the world. Sending love your way. 💛”
Grace looks adorable in a pink t-shirt with koala bears, white pants, and pink sneakers, with a headband from Bluey on her ears. In the first picture, she smiles next to Bluey and Bingo from the Australian TV series. After meeting the famous dogs, Grace got to see a horse! In slide 3, Grace’s entire face is lit up as she pets a pony taller than her outside. In the last picture, she holds the horse’s rope and smiles up next to creature, clearly having the best day of her life. And we don’t blame her! We should all get to visit with horses on our birthdays.
People sent their love for this cutie in the comments. “Best day ever!💕” Grace’s “Bunny” (aka, grandma Terri Irwin) commented.
“Oh my heart, the picture of her with the pony ❤️ so sweet! i have a similar picture of my youngest (now 26) and her 4th bday with a pony and smile,” someone else commented.
Grace was born on March 25, which happens to be her parents’ fifth wedding anniversary. Bindi commemorated the special occasion by sharing gorgeous family photos with her daughter, including an adorable animal-themed cake!
“I still can’t believe Grace was born on our anniversary,” Bindi captioned the post. “Thankful every minute for this incredible family of mine. How did I get so lucky?”
Grace, who was surrounded by stuffed animals and real ones for the photoshoot, told her mom in a birthday video that she was actually turning 16 instead of 4 in the cute video. (They sure grow up fast!) Later, Bindi talked to the camera to share a special message for future Grace.
“Grace, if you ever look back on this video, I want you to know that you are the most beautiful, kind, thoughtful, smart, amazing person, and I love you with all my heart, and [your dad] does too,” Bindi said. “You are the best part of our lives, our whole family.”
“We just feel so lucky that you chose us. I’m so lucky to be your Mama,” she added.
