Country music superstar Rebe McEntire has returned to the small screen in NBC’s sitcom, Happy’s Place, and now the workplace comedy has scored a season 2 renewal. Created by Julie and Kevin Abbott, Happy’s Place concerns Bobbie (McEntire), a woman who inherits her father’s bar after his death, and must co-manage the business with her much younger half-sister, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo). Putting the singer/songwriter’s powerful personality at the forefront, Happy’s Place aims to recreate the success of the six-season sitcom classic, Reba, including casting McEntire’s beloved former co-star Melissa Peterman.
