By now, we’ve seen a few of our favorite stars flaunt their natural beauty in makeup-free selfies and even makeup-free red carpets. From Pamela Anderson to Julia Roberts, some of the biggest names in Hollywood have shown what’s behind all the glitz and the glamour. And, most recently, Kelly Clarkson dared to go makeup-free too!
In a recent episode of the Not Gonna Lie podcast hosted by Kylie Kelce, Clarkson showed up with no makeup, a casual sweatshirt, and a matching baseball cap.
In the few clips posted on social media of the episode, which went live on March 27, fans are all over the comments celebrating her bare beauty.
“I like how people feel comfortable showing up as themselves on this podcast,” wrote one follower. “They don’t feel like they have to be all dolled up and I think that’s cool.”
“NGL I love the fact that Kelly showed up all natural,” wrote another, referencing the show’s title. “Why do I love that the makeup is minimal and natural and you both feel like real women 👏👏👏,” another fan wrote.
Also in the episode, Clarkson gave some rare insight into co-parenting with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
Clarkson talked about how their kids, River, 10, and Remington “Remy,” 8, have gotten used to having two working parents.
“It’s funny, though, how different it is because even from a young age, like we didn’t teach them [that],” she told Kelce. “Just innately, you’re like, ‘He’s allowed to be somewhere, but you’re not.’ Like, that is real interesting.”
“There’s a lot that I keep in because…co-parenting is fun,” she teased. “It’s like, ‘Oh, he couldn’t come because this,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay, cool.’ Do you think I just leave and just sit in the park all day?”
“My son, by the way, I’m always like, ‘Yeah, mommy does work and that’s OK,’” Clarkson said. “Women and men work. It’s OK.”
Clarkson and Blackstock were married for seven years before their messy divorce in 2020.
